This part of the process is a must for all my clients. After booking your session, I will send out a welcome packet that goes through more details about the session process and tips as you prepare for your shoot. I’ll also send out a questionnaire before we meet- you’ll have time to come back to it if you need, and this is where I’ll ask for your vulnerability and honesty so we can create a portrait session that captures your soul. We’ll then meet for your consultation at my private studio, where you can tell me even more about yourself, your “why” for your shoot, and I can continue the planning process to make sure your session 100% reflects who you are. This will also be the time for you to see sample products and packages that I offer, so you can start thinking about how you’ll want to display and gift your images when all is said and done!

The day of your session will be a day you just sit back and relax and let the pros take care of you. A week before your session I’ll email you confirming dates, times, and when to be at the studio. Upon arrival you’ll hop into our makeup chair at the studio and let one of the team members from Behren’s Artistry work their magic on you! You’ll have full access to our coffee bar, snacks, and beverages, and I’ll be there to set out your outfits and get everything in order before we shoot. We have a changing room, private bathroom, and all the props and furniture you need at the studio to ensure maximum comfort while we capture your beauty on camera!

YOUR GALLERY REVEAL

Once we’re finished shooting, we’ll meet back at the studio 2-3 weeks later for your reveal so you can see your final images! The studio allows for a private space for you (and your loved one, if you’d like to bring them along!) to view your photos, and go back through samples and products to choose how you want to take your artwork home with you. I’ll be there with my artistic eye and professional opinion to give you suggestions and ensure you get the best products and packages that are catered for you! After you’ve placed your order, I’ll put the finishing touches on your images and handle all the ordering. Once your products have arrived, we can arrange for you to pick them up at the studio or for me to drop them off at your door when is convenient for you.

I always tell people you're only ever as awkward as your photographer, and I promise that while I'm fun and dorky, I am NOT in the business of being awkward or weird! You'd be surprised at how fun, relaxed, and amazing both you and your partner will feel on your shoot day. I am extremely directive, there will be music playing, and he'll just get to grab a lot of boobs and butts for an afternoon ;)

Absolutely not! I'll send out a questionnaire to determine what vibes/style of shooting will fit your guys' personality and relationship best. At our consult, we can discuss comfort zones, moods, and what you would like your session to reflect when all is said and done! We can go ultra sexy, or keep it fun and flirty, or keep it soulful and intimate. The choice is yours, and I'll never force you to do anything you aren't comfortable doing!
